ive got a land cruiser hy-pinion diff with a detroit and 5.29s with stock axles and birfs.

i obviously need to upgrade.

marlin has a birf eliminator kit to convert from birfs to dana 44 u-joints.

what axles come with that kit?

and is that a good conversion? or am i better off with longfield birfs and axles from trail gear. for a little more cash.

i would def. go with longfields. they are proven to be stronger than the d44 joints. go to the longfield web site and look at the testing charts. plus they have a great warrenty.

im running the longfields with 35 mud terrains and have never worried about breaking a birf, and i beat my truck pretty good.
