Thumbs down Vacuum/carb cut out problems

ok first off I bought an 85 ext cab 5 spd with a 22R (stock carb- unsure of part number, tab is missing has reman sticker on it.) and "california" emissions.(first toyota truck, came from a chevy family) My first problem is i noticed several vacuum lines missing or running from one thing and ending in a hose connected to nothing.
According to the diagram I am missing:
  1. Resonator
  2. EAVC
  3. MC valve
  4. thermo valve
  5. HAI diaphram
Then I also have extra parts
  1. 3 port switch with cut wires mounted on top of valve cover
  2. 2 port switch with wires coming out of it (not VSV, the one in question is closer to firewall)
  3. EGR vacuum modulator ( only shown in fed. emissions)
  4. on rear of carb there is what looks to me like a choke pull off which is not hooked up either and not seeing it in diagram.

so what do i do to figure out my vaccum? it looks like a hybrid system or somethin I have a cut out/bog about 2,000 rpms and unless i floor it (kicks up), it just continues bogging. Heard its most commonly acc. pump, replaced that and drove it, seemed to help untill i shut it off and it sat for about an hour. then drove home and was just as bad if not worse. then also read a bunch of threads that were havin similar problems and having vac. problems so that is where i stand, trying to figure that out. going to check tomorrow to verify vac. advance operation. where should I start? or should i cut my loses buy a weber and eliminate as much as possible? if i buy a weber what exactly will i beable to cut out?

trying to give you guys as much info as possible to give you a better overall picture of whats going on. ANY ideas or suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated, hoping to make this my daily driver and eliminate a car payment!

Exclamation

UPDATE: so i tested the vacuum advance and found that the port closest to the dist. is not holding vac. and the port closer to radiator is. after running some hoses differently as suggested on a different post it got rid of the bog at idle but still does in first and second gears while driving could this be due to the bad diaphram?
