Here we go. My 84 4runner developed a vibration in 1st,2nd,3rd,and 5th so I figured it was as good of time as any to upgrade to dual cases (2.28 and 4.7), and twin sticks. I bought a complete built unit with a transmission. Installed it and had everything perfect. I drove her for about 50 miles and a horrible clicking noise developed. Guess what.... it only makes this noise in 1st,2nd,3rd, and 5th. I noticed a little slack in the tcase rear output flange so ill be changing that as well. Any input?? What is the deal?

 

did u Check u-joints for play?
