toyota pickup diesel

I was just looking at toyota pickup with the diesel motor(an 84 I think). How are these compared to the 22re? I would think parts would be harder to find?

Parts are a pain, they are slower than 22R, but they will go for a million miles, and without much fuel too

I bought a brand new turbo diesel in 1985....awesome motor great power...wish i still had it!................dammmmmmmm
