Hello I am new to this thread and I thought I should make a thread here so I'm going to convert my 1984 Toyota truck to Diesel since my 22r is pretty tired and I need extra power to push my truck and I thought diesel is the way to go and the Mercedes om617 is my perfect candidate because its much cheaper and easy to do , I have seen a lot of people do this swap om617 and this thread is a lot of info . I been working this engine for a few weeks now preparing for my swap I will post picture later I am still learning how to download pic. This is my 84 Toyota that I’m going to convert to a Diesel..

This is what I have done in recent months just finish install my front and rear ARB Lockers and . This past week I was taking apart the Engine prepping and painting my Engine Block and exhaust headers and intake manifold ..

This Just install my adapter I made it myself
I This my Injector Pump is going to send to Sweden for rebuilt and installed a high performance injector to get more power and huge torque out of this thing , I know in Europe they way ahead of diesel tech than here in the US!

hi I have a 1984 pick up and the diesel engine is not working can you send me more information about the engine that you intaled on your i will like to learn more about it parts adapters etc thanks
