You might rub a little at full stop, my 31" Revos (probably a relatively tall 31) rubbed a little in the back of the front wheel well when I had sagging stock springs. if your stock gears are 4:10, you will probably be OK to drive, but you will loose about 1 gear, ie, 5 is worthless, 4 become 5, 3 becomes 4 etc. you will not set any new land speed records.

Maybe with a V8!

My 20R can barely turn 32s with 4.38s, I had 35s on it and it was scary slow (and I'm used to driving Toyota's), I can't imagine 38s with the stock setup.

I've got 35s with stock 4:10 and it's no slug. I've been wheeling like this for over a year. I'm not even that worried about re-gearing yet. I'll get a e-locker 1st. The manual trans does help. I disagree that with only 32s you'll loose 5th gear. With my 35s I don't use 5th but with 32s you definitely would. (But you didn't mention what kind of truck/motor setup you have so I'm just speaking for a 22r.)

I put the 32" all terrains on today, it tore it up on the dirt, it did not even rub!
