I managed to lock my steering wheel without an ignition lock cylinder or the switch rod inside. Anyone had this problem before, know of any fixes? Thanks guys.

 

I am not sure about the key situation. I've never had mine apart yet.

However, it's good to see that I'm not the only guy that rolls up his pants cuffs some. My lovely wife insists on buying me pants that are 2 inches too long. I don't know why...

It looks like you have something stuck in there. A broken tip of a screwdriver, or the end of the old ignition lock. it is laying horizontal in the pic.
