Hey guys. The 4runner im looking at is an 85 with almost 200,000 mi on a 22re. Its got a 6" skyjacker(i think) lift on it with 33 swampers with good tread. all of the exterior body is fine except the right front fender. The back of the interior however, is riddeled with rust that you can see through to the ground. The frame is solid. He says it needs new shocks, brake lines and fuel lines to be road worthy. im not shure if we can get it running or not at the moment. It could also use a paint job. When he told me the price i was in shock-----$500. He said he wants to get rid of it. Could you guys tell me what to look for on this truck as far as probs? Im afraid my current 87 has an unsalvagable frame. Ill be posting pics soon. thanks for any feedback.

other than the rust, that's a pretty good deal if it drives and stops. needs some bigger tires with that huge lift, though...

 

definately worth the $500-i would pay a couple grand for that...

whats left thats still good on your 87?

 

a friend of mine called the hood and passenger door-frames gone-good motor but might put it in the new truck(not shure about the 22re). im mostly gonna wait to part it out until the new truck is on the road.
