Shocks

OK I feel retarded but I cant get new shocks to fit. I have 5 inch springs on my 85 runner but now shock mount modifications. I tried to get bilstien 5125 at all four corners. I got all the way down to 10 inch and they are still way to long. What the hell? Do I have to modify the rear to have angled shocks and put hoops up front? Is there a way to get longer shocks w/o a bunch of cutting and welding? Thanks

BJ

Did you try compressing the shock?
