Running horrible under load

Ok once again i am back to wrenching on the 87 pickup with the rebuilt 22ret anyway back story. After my initial rebuild it wouldnt start unless using starting fluid anyway after taking to the shop a ground wire had been left off that grounds the ECU anyway after paying this guy to find the grounds and set the timing i got it home and the next day went out for a drive. Now for the problem as soon as i get under a load it begins to act like its hitting fuel cut it just tries to shut down with a very hard jerking motion and kinda acts like a miss (hard to describe) also can hear it poping through the exhaust any way i had a knock sensor code so i replaced that also had a code 14 which is a over boost code that they tell me is a fuel cut code anyway, also replaced the tps and tried to reset the timing when I hook up the jumper there is no change in the timing which is supposed to mean you have a bad TPS any way any help would be greatly appreciated

not sure if it is related or not, but my truck had the symptoms where underload, like pulling hills, etc..

my truck would fall on its face with absolutely no power at all. It turns out i had a clogged catalytic converter. It may be worth a shot for you to unbolt the front flange so there is a massive exhaust leak. drive it around and see if that was the problem.

Hopefully that helps a little.

Do you have a manual boost controller? How much boost are you running? Fuel pump?
