Rough Country Lift Front Leaf Spring Orientation

1984 Toyota 4x4 Installing RC 3" on truck. Torque rod would not bolt up. Contacted RC tech and he informed that front springs were installed in wrong direction! I had contacted RC prior to installation and was informed that the painted part # on the springs went to the rear so that was how I initially installed them. Tech informed that torque rod would then go into place. Wrong! I have concluded I need a Torque Rod bracket extension. For confirmation, can you tell me the correct front spring orientation since I got differing answers from RC? The part number is spray painted on one end of the spring. Also will not buy another RC part. THANKS

yep, you pretty much need a torque rod extention.. that being said I pulled the torque rod on my 1984 Ex Cab. Pulled it on my 81 when I lifted it. SAS'ed by 94, not running a torque rod.
Running it is up to you

info on various springs
rancho 3" springs are 2nd one down, no info on correct orientation
