Rough Country 3 inch lift for 1984 4runner

I installed a rough country 3 lift kit on my 1984 4runner, I knew it stated this was only for a truck and I assumed it would still work. Problem is I now have a huge lift in the rear about 8 inches. Is there anyway I can stay with these springs or do I need to swap them out for the 3 inch blocks? The front springs appear to work just fine.

Typically springs settle over time. Can you post a pic of how she sits now? I know mine is way sagged in the rear so when I eventuality put my springs on, OME medium Dakar, I will probably see a 5+" in the rear to start with and expect it to settle a bit. My 4" Rancho I had on my first 85 PU settled a fair amount but I wheeled it a fair amount and would park it flexed for a few hours at a time.

You should be fine. Drive it and if something doesn't feel right we can troubleshoot it from there.
