The speakers in my 85 are blown. Curious what options are out there for direct replacement with good speakers being as small as they are these days. I don't want to cut holes for big ass subs just good drop in replacements.

 

When I did my new stereo system there were a bunch of choices I had. Just get to your local installer and see whats available. I don't know where my receipt is to give a you a make and part number. Only modification I had to do was bend the mounting ears just a tad so they would mount flat with the 2 screws. Grill went back on without anything else being done

 

IIRC, they're just 4-inch full-range speakers. Just shop for some and check dimensions.
