Still wanting a spring solution that doesn't lift the truck too much. Alcan can make me some stock springs, a pair is about the same price as (4) OME's. Anyone ever pulled leaves (leafs?) out of an OME/Dakar spring pack? Any reason it wouldn't be an easy way to negate some of the lift?

 

I've been mulling this over as i look at my 85 and how high it's sitting. It's not driveable yet, so the springs haven't been broken in at all yet. Pretty sure I'll try pulling one, or maybe even cleaning up the old leaves and swapping around till I get something lower, but won't know for a while. Curious to see if you get any other replies.
