rancho 3" lift kit?

rancho 3" lift kit?

im thinking about lifting my 85 PU with a rancho kit thats 3" front and 2" rear. full set of leafs and rancho RS5000 shocks. if anyone has any opinion id like to hear it. if it works as a good lift or somthing thats only gonnabring loss of sleep. thanks

I'm not familiar with this kit. Maybe you could post a link? Anyway, I would only go with a kit that replaces all 4 springs and I would want to know who has had good luck with the springs. I have a feeling that the kit you are referring to has 2" blocks in the rear and I would not do that.

I went with the full OME kit and am quite happy with it.

it replaces all four leafs and has all four shocks, my leafs are so old in my truck i need new ones and the other kids i have found are always rear add a leaf. here is the link

I put an Rancho kit on my truck in the early '80s, it had rear springs and rs5000 shocks. It rode well and the springs never did sag but a leaf did break after 10 or 15 years of being a dd and being well abused on the beach on weekends. Rancho kits were always a good deal for a truck thats used mostly on the street.
