I finally got around to rebuilding my driver side knuckle, and it's been smooth sailing until I get to installing the axle.

I have tried all I know to get that sucker in there and just can't get it lined up.
Short side was easy. Flats top and bottom. Yada yada...

someone please tell me how to get this done.

By the way, I have noone to help me (such as rotating the pinion or what not).

Guess not. Can't find anything online. Every "example" is of the short pass side.

 

I hit mine home with a dead blow, but this was on a solid axle

 

nvm. solid axle.

 

I'm pretty sure all I am dong is tearing up the new seal.

 

Got it. I ended up loosening the top and bottom knuckle bearings to get some play with it.
