So many awesome trucks in here. I talked my pops into giving me his old 84 longbed SR5 pickup. He is the original owner. Its got 110,000 miles on the original 22R 5sp manual. It has some real bad rust all over the bed. That is the biggest issue I need to take care of-and some low oil pressure stuff. Im looking for a bed or side panels!! Here is my rust bucket:

Thought I'd play too!

Just got it home, has all kinds of spare parts.... Can't wait to go through them all.... Talked the kid down to $550.... You should have seen the look on his face when I took out the wad of cash and counted it out - I thought he was going to cry...

Got a fuel issue, starts sometimes after a prime.... Maybe in all the extra parts is a fuel pump!

Here are some pictures...

It also came loaded with parts, here are but a few! (I haven’t really even gone through them to see what is all there. I do know I have a set of alloys and a spare set of original steelies, a factory Toyota bed liner and tailgate guard and another transfer case. It appears to be a forward shift gear driven case.)

The interior needs a serious cleaning, but it’s solid!

Can't wait to go through all the extras to see what I have!

My 85 Yota

I purchased this truck a month ago. Here's some pic's from the previous owner.
I've only done some minor work, new bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear, knuckle rebuild kit (yet to be installed) and fixed a few things.

GRoot85-that looks like an awesome truck. Can you fit a wench on that ARB bumper somewhere? Post more pics of that bad boy!

Thanks, I can fit a winch but don't have the funds yet... I'll try to take some pics soon and post them.
