Nice 85 laskt9. I really want to do a 3in lift on my 4runner. Your not running a hi steer are you? How is it without?

nope no hi steer. it sucks not gonna lie, and it doesnt help that my tie rod is bent. i cant turn all the way to the right.

im removing the body lift, adding hi steer and 63s in the next 2 months

1985 4runner just ordered marlin in cage kit and the axle is gusseted now[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Here is the link to what I've done on my 85 4runner so far. Lots more to do but for now I have to take my rebuilt 22re back to the shop that built it because it sounds like a crank bearing rattling real bad in the front of the motor. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...11e4868bfeb57b

I'm diggin' this thread, I keep coming back and looking at 4runners

Also, thanks for the replies on the rear heater, I now know the 2 I had without rear heat were the exceptions rather than the rule. Only my gold 4runner has the rear heat, but it has most every option (and that rear heat works great!).

this is my 85 4runner. its a working project, but isnt every yota a project. it has a 3 inch lift with 33inch tires on 15x10 wheels. front winch bumper, no winch yet, and rear bumper.
