im pretty sure this one has been to death but what do you guys think is better for going off road a pickup or a 4runner. i need to get some thing i can drive a good bit but not every day, off road on the weekends and occationally haul some stuff nothing serious. thanx for the input.

 

I like my 4Runner because I can sleep in the back when camping and haul 4 people in decent comfort.

But I sometimes do wish it were a truck. Like when I have to throw muddy/dirty stuff in the back or collect firewood.

But heck, that's what the thing is for.

 

I say 4Runner. You can camp in the back, carry passengers in the back, but you can always remove the top, fold the seats back, and use it like a pickup.

 

I am partial to both....I used to love the truck aspect...but since I have had my runner I think I might enjoy it more since you do have the ability to camp in it and take people with you and it is just as capable as any truck i had....still a tough choice
