why is it that the manufactures say that body lifts are for manual trannies only my truck when i finally get it will be a 85 runner with a 22re/auto

thank you! i knew it would be a stupid little bracket but i phoned rough country and they told me it can't be done didn't know why just it can't be done

 

Must be beyond their technical capability

Actually, I would imagine it is more that they just want a single kit for a pickup or 4Runner and don't want to double the number of SKUs to have an automatic and manual transmission version of each body type in their warehouse.
