nice truck! mine is nearly identical (same color, header, SR5 cloth and everything). it is a canadian spec, and it too has the trouble light with the funky plug below the front hood release.

you got a great deal for 600$.

BTW is that a custom bumper, or is there a make on it? i think that might have been a port option or something.

roll bars, 4wd, youre half way there.

Lockers, fresh 31" meat, possible sas, and you got yourself a trail rig.

Nice Runner. I don't know what your plans are for it, but don't mess it up too much. 1st gens that are not overly modified and with all the factory options are harder and harder to find. With some elbow grease, some junkyard hours, and time on ebay, your ride could look like it did when it rolled off the lot...well, almost, sans bumpers.

When I had my Tacoma lifted, we were talking about 1st gen's and Jeep CJ's and how every year they are harder to find. They are either wrecked, trashed, or bought and sent to Mexico. Not to hijack your thread, but does anyone have access to finding out how many 1st gens are registered in the US now compared to 5 years ago?
That would be interesting..at least to me.

wow factory 110v outlet and light, man I've got nothing, I don't even have rear plastic on the interior or fenders that keep the mud out!

That truck looks awesome, what a great deal on an 85

Seriously i was talking to junk pimp at one of the local yards and he was saying that they are shipping all the first gens to south america. I guess there is a real demand down there. Strangely he said the automatics are the greatest demand.

Back on topic:
Sweet rig, a little elbow grease you go your self a beaut.
Congrats.
