need help with kickdown "detent" cable

need help with kickdown "detent" cable

hi all. i recently bought an 85 toyota xtracab deluxe with the auto trans, the kickdown aka detent cable it thrashed on the engine side, does anyone have pics of where this connects into the transmission and how to install a new one, also where to buy one, im having a hard time finding one. Thanks for looking.

Toyota can find you the correct one. Don't skimp here.

You have to remove the trans pan to access the end of the cable, and there is a throttle-type bracket that it attaches to. Sort of hard to explain, the best way is just to look at it and go from there.
