More power please

I have a 1984 pickup 22R 140,030 original miles ,32x11.50x15 bfg a/ts 4.88 sierra gears , 3in pro comp lift. I do plan on going with 33x12.50s next year but for now I need more power on a budget so what I ned to know is what is the best bang for my buck. Now all help and opinnions are apriceated but turbos and such are just not an option rite now. The truck is all stock and it dose need to be cali smog legal. Thanks in advance fello yotamen and women.

CA smog legal 32/36weber is a quick boost if CA still allows it.
I gasket matched my intake and exhast didnt feel anything, but it was free besides the bits and gaskets I bought.
I also noticed a gain with a Engine Builder Torker cam.
I bolted up a pacesetter header felt that a little. It is a bolt on mod.
After a bit I had an exhast shop pipe a hi flow cat, 40 series flow master with 2 1/4 felt that a little too.
I accidently broke my distrubtor once and bought a brand new one and my truck woke up. So make sure your fully tuned up with the simple stuff. rotor cap points plugs wires coil.
I installed a HO head from Engine builder in Oregon that was a definite boost but again $$
MSD crap was a waste of cash did not notice anything. went back to OEM
IF you goto 33's though you should regear that will help a lot but that is $$$$

Try doing a search with your engine model and whatever you're looking for (i.e. "22r power increase tips mods") - that should yield you some good results.
