Hey guys I'm a newb to the forum , however I've had a yotor since I was 18 and am a certified mechanic . I have an 85 4runner and its beginning to baffle me ,first of all its a fresh rebuilt shortblock with a DOA cnc'd cylinder head (stock cam atm) , rc engineering TB , Thorley tri y header etc... I picked the truck up from my brother who could not figure out why it ran the way it did , which fortunatley enough for me was a rather simple diagnosis incorrect timing lol . Ive been daily driving the truck for a little over a year now with no issues whatsoever , and within the last week it has developed a severe misfire anywhere except for idle . it has all new cap/rotor plugs/wires , injectors (2 years old), o2 sensor etc... Ive checked everything timing codes etc... I am curious to see if anyone here may be able to shed some light on my situation any help would be appreciated sometimes all it takes is an outsiders pov lol .
