LSD additivite or no in Diffs?
New diffs with arb's. I do not think that they should have Limited Slip additive, but wanted to double check before throwing anything in them.
84 4runner with v6 diffs and arb's.
Also read responses from arb stating that using synthetic has no real benefits for their lockers and they actually use standard diff oil (don't know about ls additive though). Will likely pick up some super-tech non-synthetic (walmart's brand) because that is all I can find locally and all of Napa's have limited slip added in.

I have some conventional oil that I'm thinking I'll run in it for the first 3k miles. I have left over amsoil gear oil 80-90 (new of course) that I think I will put in it after I do the break in period and change the oil.
Any thoughts on using the cheaper stuff for the break-in period?

Sweetness, that is what I was figuring. Gotta tie up a few things, plugs, bleed the brakes, fill it with oil and put the tires back on. I'll be gone for the weekend, but I will definitely get to drive on the new gears this week.
