Looking 4 1st gen lift..

around 3 or 4 inches. Replacement springs all around are preferable. Im on a tight budget so the cheaper the better but reliability comes first.

how do the PC springs flex? I have had bad experience with them in the past being way WAY to stiff. Also, do you have any recommended dealers to buy from?

they dont flex bad for the price, i can stuff one front shock and fully extend the other, they will "loosen up" the more you beat on them

The owner before me installed 3" SkyJacker springs/shocks all around...plus new bushings. I still need longer brake lines but the drag link is not dropped on mine and it drives fine. Who ever installed the springs though cranked the bolts down till they compressed the bushings and the truck rode WAY STIFF...I loosened the bolts a bit and the ride is getting smoother everyday as I don't think the springs ever broke in.

I would change the bushings with the springs and grease them VERY WELL or get some bolts that have grease fittings, I am going to get them and grease everything again and this should make the ride even better.

The superlift kit looks kinda nice. I know thats not the price for new springs all around. thats front springs and blocks. hmmm. stuff to think about. I was wanting to see if anyone was using downey springs since they are priced resonably. I would like to know how they perform offroad.

The first price is for front springs and rear add aleafs plus bushings, the second price is for springs and bushings all around. That was a quick search and i am sure you can find it cheaper somewhere else.

National Tire and 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers also sell SkyJacker lifts.

I'm happy with the lift, just the person that installed it didn't know what he was doing and when i get some time I will install the longer brake lines, greasable shackle bolts and be done .
