interchangeable interior years

I am looking to go to the junkyard to see if I can find some things for my interior and a few for the exterior. I was wondering if anyone knew of the year/models that were had interchangeable parts?

I have a 1985 22r Extra Cab

Some 4runner parts may be interchangeable, Take that with a grain of salt though

Dash pieces are interchangable, seats. Passenger door cards are different for 4runner. Gauges differ between standard and SR5 models.

I haven't had luck with seats bolting right it, but nothing a hammer and a few minutes of drilling seat holes out won't fix. If it won't fit directly it will more than likely not take much to make it work. I also found that some trucks with bench seats have holes drilled and tapped with black stickers over them, so you could directly swap buckets from another truck I imagine. If you can find a 2nd gen 4runner with the adjustable seats, make those fit. They are as close to racing seats as you will get stock. I have mine adjusted to fit me like a glove. But now I'm just rambling. good luck finding stuff!
