I have a 85 22r single cab that blew a head gasket. I tore it down and found that the head is unusable. Today I went and looked at a 85 ext cab with a 22re with body damage. The 22re has 64,000 original miles. I want to put the 22re in the single cab. They are both automatic transmission. What considerations should be taken to swap these engines. I am mechanically inclined but have never done anything this major. I do not have the money to pay someone else to do it for me. If anyone has any good advice I would be very appreciative.
