How much would it cost?

Found a rust free frame for my 85 4runner. My current frame currently is in OK shape, but I am wondering if I wanted to have someone install the new frame what I would be looking at for labor hours for the job. and if anyone has paid to have this done, what it would cost. thanks.

it wouldnt be worth it to have someone do it its very time consuming... just do it yourself its not that hard
if your serious about having it done.. call someone up and ask them

A while back I asked a body shop about swapping my 95 rust free runner body(2wd) onto my pretty much rust free 91 frame(4wd) they wanted 3 grand. I'm in Canada so the prices will be different but it'll still be quite costly.

if its not your dd, why not make a project out of it. paint the frame up real nice and work on it in your free time

And what he wants to do will be even more work than swapping bodies. To swap the frame you basically have to take the entire truck apart.

It would cost a more than your truck is worth X2.

Best option, do it yourself and learn.
