help with 85 pu noise

hi and thanks in advance for any help. first off i have a 85 toyota pickup 22r (federal model). i took off my egr system, carb and intake to clean it out and replace some gaskets. i put everything back together to the Haynes and chilton manual specs. when i started the car it seemed fine till i gave it some gas and it started to make like a whine\whistling noise from around the carb it only happens when i give it some gas and it stay a lil while in idle. the truck runs fine in all gears but htis noise is KILLING MY EARS!!!!! i think it might be a leak but i sprayed carb cleaner and no idle change im to the last bit of money i have and i still need to get this truck smogged. any advice will help thanks

It's a long-shot but if you're sure the gaskets are good then spray your manifold and carb body to see if it's cracked (again a long shot), also check all your hoses and lines. Are you sure its not the smog/air pump bearing? Or again a long shot and god forbid cam noise coming up manifold and out the carb. from lack of oil or bad bearing?

checked the carb to intake manifold and there are no cracks also i shecked with soapy water for leaks on all the vac hoses. im almost definite its not the cam bearing. everything was working fine before i took every thing apart. looks like i will take it all apart and make sure everything is seated well
