Header question

Will a header labeled to fit a 90-95 pickup or 4runner 4wd with 22re fit my 84 pickup?

I don't believe so. They changed the design of the cylinder head in 85(?) and I'm not sure if that changed the exhaust manifold design or not.

Ok, next question...will a 22RE Valve cover fit a 22R head? My reason for this question is, my 84 had a 22RE sticker on the valve.

According to LC Engineering, they sell a smog-less "off road use only" header that will fit all 81-95 20r/22r/22re motors.

So does that mean it should work? A header labeled for a 90-95 pickup? I'm not concerned with smog equipment. And don't mind modifying or blocking off ports etc.
