Finally got some more time, everything is all finished, running perfectly. The noise from the throwout bearing went away and seems fine now, I have a spare just in case but I think I'll leave it alone for the time being. Got the truck smogged, passed with room to spare and now I'm just sorting out the title issues and getting it ready for paint. Still can't drive it yet though until title issues are solved (long story involving a long defunct bank who still had a lien on the title even though the loan was paid off over 20 years ago). Going to paint it the original 033 white and get all the dents fixed in the meantime.
