Question Gearing?!?!

I just pick up an 85 pickup with the 22r on a really good deal. the 22r is underpowered for the 33's on there(tires are worth as much as i payed for truck, haha). but i was wondering about re-gearing the diffs to ease up some of the stress on the engine. could i run 4.56 front and back or do i need to say, run 4.56 in back and 4.10 in front? any thing you have to say could help and nothing is to technicle of an explanation.

They have to be the same, and more like 4:88's.

Both front and rear have to be the same!!! Go 4.88's unless you plan on going with bigger tires.

Will changing to 4.88's kill your fuel economy? I assumed it might be better, making it easier on the engine, but you can't go as fast.

It will put you close to stock(they're stock on some), as far as engine performance.

4.88s will put it to stock, as said, which will give you near stock gas mileage, if you know how to drive it.
