So i know a guy who bought a 1987 4runner for it's engine, i called him up yesterday and he told me he has the truck loaded to go to the scrap yard and that if i bring a six pack i can take whatever i want. My rig is a 1985 (see sig) with some brake light problems see my other thread. What should i take that will be compatable with my truck?

Let me know what people need or think i should grab!

I'd think its gonna be worth something.

 

Salvage is probably about $175 for the body around here. Offer him the salvage price and take the whole things. I hate to see these things go to the crusher.. Just one less available to rebuild or part out.

 

I agree but i live in town and no longer have a warehouse space to sprip it. it kills me to see it go to the crusher but nothing i can do for her now.

I guess i will just do the works and gut her.
