exhaust manifold flange nut sizes.

yeah so I've been putting some serious highway miles on my truck lately and the 2 nuts on my exhaust flange decided they wanted to rattle off. now im running pretty much a straight header setup which is driving me crazy. i cant seem to find the correct nut size at any auto parts stores. is it something im going to have to get from the "stealership"?

i had lost 2 of mine and was able to get a set from the auto parts store, its on the help or bolt center in the store and it had the studs and 2 bolts they ended up being 17 mm nuts and stock are 14 but they worked. i don't know thread count or size.

I replaced my exhaust flange nuts when I replaced my 1985 R22 engine 10 years ago. I got mine from NAPA. Be sure to get exhaust self locking flange nuts and you don't have to worry about them coming loose. Mine are 10-1.25mm.
