engine swap

I'm looking to do an engine swap in my 1985 4 Runner. It currently has the 22r electronic fuel injection engine. This engine is extremely weak, will not turn the tires over in slick mud. I am running 33x12.50 BFG's, with a five inch Skyjacker left with Skyjacker shocks. Everything else is stock. I am looking to install a Chevy 4.3 V6. Any recommendation and/or thoughts would be helpful. I am not sure if I will have to replace any other parts "ie" transfer case, gears, transmission. Thanks in advanced for any help.

If it's all stock besides the tire size you should look into regearing it for the tire size and lift it will most likely get you better gas mileage and better performance plus it's cheaper then a motor swap and if you do the swap the gearing can only help.
