22r timing guides?

ok so i just got my timing kit from engnbldr, i go to put my guides on and the holes dont line up on the drivers side. then the passanger side is to thin and the bolts dont sink all the way in. the bolts have like a sleve that stops them from going in. do most 22r have this sleve thing? i was thinking someone else might of put new guides in that came with these bolts. and why wouldnt the holes line up on the drivers side, its only off by around 1/2".

Not sure, maybe they are for an 22re or 1985 and newer block. When I was replacing mine, the guy at EPN /ENGNBLDR really stressed the point that I needed to know which year my engine block was? I guess they maybe slightly different. I got my kit from EPN, the steel guide kit and everything (steel guide, plastic guide, upper and lower gears, tentioner, ect.) fit fine. I would suggest giving them a call, I spoke with Todd he was really helpfull.

lol. ya i should of done my home work, i spoke with tod from engnbldr, i got the kit for the early 22r with a 98 link chain. the one i needed was the 96 link chain. he said that they use slightley differant spaced bolts. that way the two guids dont get mixed up. I got it all worked out. thanks to tod and his dad at engnbldr..now i just have to wait a week to get my part.
