Engine noise after HG and t-chain replacement.

Hello all,
After much searching I was unable to find any good explanation for my problem.
The truck is a 94 22re auto.
New parts include:
new engnbldr head
261 cam
Toyota HG set
cloyes t-chain set.
The problem is after all of the work, it started right up but it had a rattle that would go away under load. I decided that it could be ignition timing related, so I set it. Then I installed an oil pressure gage and that is in spec.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

make sure you did not overtighten your valve cover..it basically needs to be a quarter turn passed finger tight...12 inch pounds i believe.if its overtighen it will sit on top of the valve train and make alot of noise.start the truck and slowly loosen youre valve cover nuts and see if it quiets down
