my truck lost all power in the cab except to the lights all other power is gone, checked fuses and relays, no sign of rat chewing I have had that problem in the past after one sits for a while.
any help appreciated.

 

Does the vehicle still start?
Nothing happens when u turn the ignition? No radio, cig lighter, any thing come on the dash in the on position?

 

it might help to give us a little idea just what year and model your working on

Do you have a Multimeter??

 

I think I have found the problem a broken wire inside the fender going to the fuse box extremely hard to get to looks like something chewed through the wiring harness.
Now I am going to replace the heater core while I have the dash torn out.
I have a 1985 4X4
