driveshaft parts swap question
#1
I have a 1985 4runner> I just gave it a 5 inch lift. When I did this I suspect that it made a little too much of an angle for the driveshaft because when I step on the gas the truck viberates and you hear a thumping noise (u Joints). I have a couple extera front shafts that have the double U jount assembely. I was just wondering it it would be a good idea to use one of the double U joint assembilies from the front driveshafts on the rear driveshaft? Could the assembily handle it and if not recomended I need some help getting steered in the right direction. Please help, thank you

Classic u-joint symptoms with the stepping on the gas.
Front or rear drive shaft? Both?
I always put a double cardan on my rear d-shaft once I lift one...but that is just me. Did you lengthen your drive shafts properly?
U-joints are your thump for sure.

Thank you very much I think you answered my question
the rear shaft is the one having the problem
I am getting it sent in to be lengenthened in a week but I though that wouldnt be a problem untile I put the suspension to the test.
