coolant squirting out bottom of intake manifold
1983 carb. style intake leaking from sensor on bottom of intake manifold. happened all of a sudden. about a mile from the house, barely made it home before the temp went up.
is this the temp sensor? is this a pressure relief?

There is not a pressure relief. The Aisin carb does have several sensors. Without pictures, not sure which sensor you are talking about. Is the Intake cracked or just the sensor get loose or have a hole corroded in the sensor? Should be a easy fix if there is no cracks in the sensor or intake.

On my old '87 with carburetor, there is a plate on the bottom of the intake manifold (with gasket) that housed the electric carburetor heater.
The purpose of the heater is to atomized the fuel until the engine warmed up. And, but I'm not positive, it also warms up the coolant in the passages in the manifold. Coolant does flows through the intake manifold. There is a return hose and port towards the back (firewall) of the manifold.
You may have an issue with the hose, than a gasket.
