Clutch slave cylinder
Quick question. My slave cylinder is leaking on the inside of the fire wall, right next to my foot. Do I need to buy just a slave rebuild kit? the ones on Autozone website show several types, some with springs and some without. Which one do I need?

Yeah just get a new one. Doesn't take long at all. You will spend more time cleaningthe carpet and firewall, and getting the darn spring back on the pedal since you will have to contort your body to grab it

the slave is down on the transmission. the master is what will leak into your cab. there cheap and fairly easy. Make sure to just buy a new slave also. Couple weeks after i did my master the slave went out. Do NOT buy a rebuild kit. for the same price or a few bucks more you get a new one with warranty. Not worth the time at all

>>Easiest method is to buy a new aisin one. Takes 30 min to replace<<
Ding ding! We have a winner!
Don't waste your time or money buying the autozone crap. You WILL regret it. Aisin's are available online at places like this:
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...294966735+9192 or the one listed above
And, definitely replace both at the same time and flush out the line while you are at it. With fluid and some of your own time it'll be less than $90 and it should last 100k+.
