clutch for 85 fuel injected

I recently bought an 85 toyota 4wd, standard transmision, fuel injected and it the clutch is starting to go. I went to autozone for a clutch replacement and they do not carry the clutch for the fuel injected engine. Does anyone know of one that will substitute or where I could get the correct part? Thanks for the help!

Mike

PS, Does anyone have any suggestions for things to check/replace while I'm in there? This is the first standard transmision I've worked on, so don't really know what I'll find in there!

just get a clutch for a carbed '85 then. clutches with the non-turbo, non-v6 engines were all the same from '81-91.

At Autozone they checked 86 carbed vs. fuel injected and came up with different part numbers for the clutch replacement kit. My first thought was that it wouldn't really make a difference, but this made me want to double check before I started into the project.

Just checked the NAPA catalog and they show the same # carbed or FI.

for some reason sometimes that happens, but they were the same from toyota in the beginning, it won't matter much one way or the other.

The EFI clutch might have been for a turbo engine that came out that year.

I run a Centerforce DF clutch and they only list one p/n for all the '85s:
