clunking noise

my truck 84 xtra cab 4x4 22r all stock, im getting a wierd clunking noise when i make a sharp turn, at first i thought it was my worn out front springs hitting the bumpstops but now i dont think its that, im thinking its something in my steering because i went under there and tried to find something that was loose arouns my tranny/tcase but i couldnt find anything so i think its my steering anyone had this problem?

my truck does it at full lock as well. My mechanic said it was just the steering limit, and just not to turn it that far.

I had the recall done for the steering on my 95 runner, and now it is doing the same thing.

I did get clunks from my rear diff when I would shift but I got the pinion bearing (I think) retorqued which got rid of it.

The other clunks that I get are from the steering arm coming off the pitman hitting my u-bolts. This only started recently and I think it is due to how bad my springs are sagging on me. There is a nice shiny spot on my u-bolt to confirm this. Check yours to see if you have the same thing.
