Question Chrome Rims

Is it worth the time and at all fessible to sand/grind down the chrome and paint the rims to match the truck? I know chrome rims are dipped and have a slight electrical charge run through them to attach the chrome - however I wanted to do something different with them without having to go out and buy a new set of rims!

Thanks!

Have them sandblasted, then you can do whatever you want. I had a set that I powdercoated to match the color of the truck, cost less than new rims.

That's a thought! I never considered Sand Blasting. I was thinking I would have to get in there and sand em down with sand paper and worried the crevices wouldn't get done enough!

Thanks for the suggestion RR!
