catalytic converter

I'm needing some exhaust work on my offroad rig.

I'm wondering if I should keep the cat or not.

It's offroad rig only, no inspections or anything like that.

What do you guys think? Engine is all stock.

I put one back on my truck. It was smelling like a TJ hooker, adding a cat really helped in not to stink so bad.

no cat on mine, 2 1/4 all the way back from a downey header threw a thrush turbo muffler, but had to put a small 3" resonator tip on it to keep it from sounding like donkey butt over 4,000 rpm. Which reminds me, I was gonna see if I couldn't get a video clip of the exhaust sound on mine. Is it safe to rev to 4,000+ rpm when not in gear? lol
