A/C questions

I know there's threads but they all get off on little tangents

My truck: 85 pickup with a 22re that came without a/c from the factory. Has heater/fan
1. Difficulty?

2. What are my options?

3. What is the cheapest way?

It's be really great if I can get input from someone that has done this with the same truck! Thanks for your time.

The ice melts too fast. In the long run I'd spend more on ice than an a/c!

Years ago I had an 87 that had no A/C. Bought a factory kit and installed it. All the wiring connectors were in place as were bolt holes. Plug and play. Easy but, not cheap.

Had to make holes in the firewall for two lines and they were already kind of punched through. Easy to spot.

Everything I needed was in the kit except for refrigerant.

The other option is to find a donor truck and get ALL the parts.
