Bump Stop advice

1985 4Runner 22re automatic OME/ARB 2.5 HD lift 33 inch tires

I have the Old Man Emu 2.5 HD lift installed with the OME greasable shackles. I have mixed feelings on this kit--it is squeaky but it is a solid axle suspension after all. Anyways, when I crawl through ditches and rocks, the tires are rubbing up against the inner fender walls and it sounds like something is bottoming out. I get a feeling I need to get taller bump stops and in looking around online, I can only find bump stops that have the shank in the middle. If I recall correctly (and hopefully someone here knows), the original bump stop that I have is molded onto a plate that fits with the upper portion of the ubolt.

Now, I am thinking maybe the bump stop separates from that plate thus allowing me to thread the longer bump stop (with the threaded shank) into it. I just don't know if the current plate containing the bump stop is molded or if they can separate. Any wisdom on this? Has anyone done something else in installing taller bump stops?

I know posting links is frowned upon--so my apologies but this is the bump stop I was thinking of installing...
