Build up 84 pick up

Well I guess its time...
Here is my truck stock, playing around in my friends back yard:

on rip down...

One of 2 breaks in the frame

new frame from an 85 runner

And back together, 4" pro comp, heavy shackes, 4:37 diffs were the major mods on it, but lots of new parts as well.

To follow will be dual transfere cases, Taco lockers(rear to start), wider axle in the rear and spacers in the front, and bigger rubber.

How common are 4.37s?

the frame was off a runner that was parted out in the mid 90's, shifted hands a couple of times before I picked it up. Had it sand blasted then painted it. There was a slight rust patch on the driver side rear right over the tire, I cut it out and welded a 1/8" plate over it.

the 4:37's aren't that common, my friend had them in his 83 but pulled them to drop in 5:29 so I got them super cheap.

Tomorrow I start welding up my rear deck.
