breaking in new gears

breaking in new gears

I'm buying some 5:29 gears and was woundering how i should breake the front gears in? I thought about putting the 3rd for the front in the back to brake in and them move it up to the front. How would you guys break in the front diff?

I pulled the rear drive shaft and drove around in FWD for a week or so:

Just wheel on them. Those were the exact words of the guy that set up both my 3rds, and he's done MANY gear set ups.
